Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born on August 19th, 1965. She is an American producer and actress. She is most famous for her part as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick earned the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and also an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The series ended following its seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) who was teacher and family therapist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick has stated that she is Jewish and has been a participant in Passover meal times.
